KidCast
Dan Schmit is helping to explain different ways teachers can help improve their in class assignments. He is explaining to teachers how podcasts can help kids learn in several different ways. He tells how they should listen to educational podcasts, then the teachers can ask them several question about the podcast, the student can listen, pause, replay, and write down notes that are important during the podcast. He explains how it helps kids be more interactive with the school work, making it more interesting to learn, they can answer the questions by audio, and the teacher can grade it accordingly, giving the students a different approach to learning. Dan also makes a good point in how the teachers can make it into a group project, where they are obtaining more than one learning skill by, having to review the criteria, learn the material, work together to achieve the answers, but at the same time enjoying the differential way of learning.
